Highpower Received the Certificate of Appreciation from Hong Kong Productivity Council

In February 9, in recognition of Highpower’s contribution of cleaner production and participation in verification project (Project Title: Air-Sealed Treatment System and Pulse Bag Filter for Nickel Powder) under Cleaner Production Partnership Programme, Hong Kong Productivity Council presented the Certificate of Appreciation to us.

Highpower Technology focus on the clearer production since our establishment through conserving raw materials and energy, eliminating toxic raw materials, incorporating environmental concern into the design and delivery of the services, and supervising impacts from the production process and products themselves. Highpower not only enhances training and intendance to our staff, but also sets up system for dealing with waste water; test the environmental quality through the third party. Now, we have got the honor names of “The Member of Guangdong Provincial Environmental Protection Industry Association” and “Top 10 Recycling economy, Energy saving and Emission reduced Corporation in 2007”. Highpower will still aim at Energy Saving, Reduction in Material Consumption, Waste Minimization, and Increase in Production Efficiency to support the cleaner production enterprise.

 

About CPPP: The five-year Cleaner Production Partnership Programme (CPPP) is one of the key measures taken by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) to encourage Hong Kong enterprises in Guangdong to play their part to improve the regional environment, thereby supporting Hong Kong to develop into a green metropolis. The Programme will assist and encourage Hong Kong-owned factories within the Pearl River Delta (PRD) Region to adopt cleaner production technologies and processes. The overall objective of the Programme is to encourage and facilitate Hong Kong-owned factories in the PRD Region to improve energy efficiency and reduce air pollutant emissions.
